Popwing/Teksumo

This one is one of my favorites! It’s Tech One 35″ Popwing, with a power upgrade and some FPV gear. ;) It won’t set any records for long range with the relatively small battery, but it’s got plenty of duration to have some fun! It’s the one to fly when you just want to grab a plane and go fly. Hit a few trees, “land” at 45mph on a low pass, etc., no problem… Toss it back up and keep flying! haha

  • Tech One 35″ EPP Popwing kit
  • Suppo 2212-06 motor w/7×6 APCe prop
  • 30A ESC (runs a little hot with it burried in the wing, I need a 40A on here)
  • 2200mAh 3S LiPo
  • Hitec HS-81 servos
  • Dragonlink UHF receiver
  • 200mW 1258/1280 vTX from RMRC
  • PZ0420 flight camera
  • Skylark Tiny 2 OSD
  • #16 Keychain camera for recording onboard

The Popwing was replaced with a Teksumo kit for version 2. The only difference in the kit is the paint, and that it’s sold at Hobbyking. I built this one with a few small changes:

  • 3530-14 Firepower motor, 8×6 APC-E prop
  • HK 25/30 SS ESC
  • Tower Pro MG90S servos
  • 2200mAh 3S lipo
  • 400mW RMRC 1280/1258 video transmitter
  • Dragonlink 9CH receiver (old one)
  • Skylark Tiny 2 OSD
  • FPV-Japan CCD-C360WDR camera
  • Cheap 12V Mic

I have nearly the same setup that you have here but having issues once I added Skylark Tiny OSD. Everything works great for about a minute, then I get a black screen flicker, then it goes away, then it comes back. Can you tell/ show me how you connected your items together. My current guess is that the issue is how I connected power to my TinyOSD from the DragonLink. It is on the same plug as the RSSI. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
